Hello all: I'm looking for anyone that can tell me the correct settings for connecting to a 9600 switch using Procomm. I've tried 7-E-1, 1220/2400 baud. I connect just find, but get no response to keystrokes. I'm also using VT-100 emulation. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure your baud rate is correct. You must first press \ , then login, xxxx. You must press \ before every command and remember the F9600 doesn't echo characters that you type back to you.

Thanks for the help. Now when I type the login and enter it, it prompts me for the password, I enter it and it prompts me for password again. What now? I'm totally new to Fujitsu. ANyone know where to find a list of basic commands or where to get a manual? Thanks in advance.

email me with the system software version. I can help.

To get ProComm to echo back to you what you have typed, go to Data Options > Advanced Tab and set Duplex to Half.

My telephone vendor technician won't tell me the password and how to log into my F9600. How can I get around his obstinence?

R14 and 15 are the only releases that allowed the high level password to be changed. before that it required Fujitsu to modify. IF you need this done ALTURA is the new software/hardware support that has access to the code.

If it where me I would FIRE the vendor. there palce should be takeing care of your needs, not hindering you

We need the dial up number to be able to access the switch
