Remote Access with SBS 2003 & notebooks

I have an SBS 2003 on a 50 user network. Most of my users all have a desktops in their offices; However there are 3 users that use notebooks at the office. When they leave the office they take their notebooks. All my other users use 'Remote Desktop' to connect remotely. I need to find a way to connect my 3 problem children to our network while they are away. I've tried the built in VPN (pptp) connection, but they travel to several diffrent places & rarely the same place twice so I'm having trouble with firewalls & routers (other than ours). I would just use OWA, but my useres need to acces other network resources such as shares & printers. I was wondering what you guys are doing for users that take thier office machines with them when they go out of town. all client machines are running xp pro sp2.

Remote desktop should be fine for them as well. If not any of the http-based remote control utilities could be used as well and secured. Lots of options. Personally, we use Remote Desktop/TS, Famatech's Remote Administrator, and VPN.

Yep - I would just get extra machines to host a desktop in house for them for Remote Dekstop or get another server and do TS/RDC.

With SBS, you have to run TS App Mode on a separate server.

Yea, I figured settign up a machine & letting it host remote desktop connectiosn was my only real option for these guys. Thanks
