I have a remote Database in Atlanta. I was able to access it remotely until last Friday. No one has made any changes to the database or the server at the Atlanta office. I have checked with our ISP and the TCPIP port configuration has not changed. I had one of my guys in the Atlanta office try to access it localy and he can't see it. He ised to connect to the LAN and use it. I can access the computer via TIMBUKTU. The computer can access the internet and FM6 in the computer can see my serve in Fort Lauderdale. I have tried re-installing FM6. What else could prevent us from accessing the database as we used to? By the way, the database is on an Emac running OS 10.3. Thanks for any help...

- sounds like the database is not being shared/opened
-XP pro has a buitlin firwall on SP2...it could be tunred on
- FM might have re-set its configuration of ports by some reason
- your router might have been "hard-reset" and your port forwading is gone...
- your FM server has changed the IP
...
some things to consider!
All the best!
