Hi, we have morethan 300 workstation in our 4 lab room and my boss want us to installed all the software needed for the lab but the software is stored in our windows 2000 server. I know that I can connect all the workstation and from there I can copy/install all the software needed but what we want is to installed the software, including the OS, in the workstations from the server simultaneously. Meaning, if we up the workstation it will automatically connected to the server and copy or installled the software. We can do this in the Novell OS but in the Windows 2000 we don't have any idea. Is this posible? Can somebody help us.

Thanks in advance

There are ways to do this with W2K server using Remote Installation Services. I have not done it but I know that it is not simple to do but should be worth it considering the number of workstations. You could also use a product like Altiris but it is expensive.
