remote access card for Partner ACS R8

Anyone know where the manual is that guides you through the complete setup for this? I have the card installed and if you are local to the partner extension 76 answers but if you call into the auto attendant and dial 76 to transfer to that extension it gives you an error that you cnnot be transferred to that extennsion. Do you need to build a transfer only mailbox for 76 and set the menu to allow 7 to be direct extension transfer?

With VS Mail, or Partner Mail, 76 is an invalid extension, but 776 IS, so you assign 76 to hunt group 6. If Selector Code 7 is not set to Direct Extension Transfer, use *8-776 to get there.

With Partner Messaging, make a Transfer Only mailbox for 76, and the same situation for Selector Code 7.

Thanks i will give this a try I believe i did add the extension to hunt group 6 so I might have everything in place now.

Are you using the Modem card or a Modem?
If Modem card and current 803 cards, you might have a pblm.
It will not latch onto the modem probably.
Let me know if you are sucessful. I have to remove my 803 to use the modem.

You need to set the remote password with #730. Otherwise you will never be able to login with the Remote Access software.

Sorry meant 308 not 803.
I am able to logon and control everything properly but only with the 308 card removed.

I was wondering if TD1019 had this problem

I have not when i call in and do a *8 then 76 for the extension the modem answers fine. Now I have not really tested being connected to it for any period of time.

can I ask what rev of 308ec you have?
and what rev acs?

My ACS is 8.0 I would have to check on the 308 its off site
