When I ported a report over to a new database, I had to map a couple of fields. I have now discoverd one was mapped wrong and need to fix it. I'm using CR8.5 and I can't find any button or menu item to help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Are you using tables, views or stored procedures?

Have you tried re- verifying the database?

I dont think you can re-map fields. This is more of a one time thing you do right after you convert database drivers or verify your database.

Have you saved the new report? If not just start with the old one again.

If you have asaved the new report, then go back to your database, make an innocuous change such as changing the field name you want to remap, then go back to crystal and verify your database. You will have a chance to remap it at that point.

Finally go change your database back to the right field name, verify again and re-map again.

I think that dgillz is right on this, I tried to devise a measn to trick it into remapping again, and it seems that it will require another 2 steps, change, and change back.
