Hi,

I am using CR 9.22 and using MS SQL Stored Procedure. I created 1 BalanceSheet SP A (stored procedure) in database A and the same SP B also available in database B. And i had created CrystalReport A which is using SP A and working fine. But now i need to remap my CrystalReport A to use SP B in database B. I edit the CrystalReport A and in Database --> Set Databaes Location and point to SP B in Database B, but strange thing is, in the Map Fields Screen, i can only see database name and SP B name (the name of store procedure), but i couldn't see any field available from my SP B.

I already double check the permission to launch the Storec Procedure, and i can run the both store procedure from SQL server without any problem.

Please help.

I think it shows the difference, so if SP2 holds everything from SP1, then there's nothing to map, there's only a difference.

What happens if you simply select OK, does it pull in the SP2 data?

I tried just simply click ok. But when i run the report, all formula cannot work, and it keep on saying field missing. So it didn't work if just click on OK.

And I try this too:
Create new blank report and use SP2 from Database B, and i can see all the field available. But if I remap the report using Database -> Set Database Location, then none of the field was displayed.

I even create new procedure (but it is the same procedure as SP A, just the name of the procedure is diff) and I remap to this SP, but the same thing still hapen.

Hi,

I found the solution. It is kind of stupid that you have to unlink or break your sub-report and map it to new server, then insert the subreport again in main report then everything will work fine.

No, all you need to do is seperately do a set location on all subreports as well.

You neglected to mention subreports.
