Hi All, before I start, I have to confess that, being an ex BT engineer, I know b*gger all about the Siemens range of HiPath systems. I've just had to relocate the afore mentioned HiPath 3300 to a new office about 10 miles away in an adjacent telephone area. The system still has two ISDN2 circuits (4 chanels) but on a different number. It appeared to work ok on startup but although I can make outgoing calls on the system, I can't receive anything, it's as if the ISDN wasn't connected.
Although there's a LAN interface, I can't see anything on it and the serial connector will obviously require software to drive it. I have a horrible feeling that it may require programming with the cli before it will accept i/c calls - anyone got any ideas?

You will need the program, the cable and know how to change the DDI numbers so that they ring to the phones.
Also you will need the password if the default has been changed.

However You might be able to try and do it over the main phone.
Try and log on to that

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, the system had been well and truly locked down by the previous maintainer so no joy there. In the end we had to resort to defaulting the system and reprogramming (with the able assistance of another company with the correct kit). All working OK now and the owner really liked the BT Versatility that I leant him for four or five days....!
