I am trying to reload XP home from Scratch. I have the Drive formated and the drivers loaded for the CD and DVD roms. I booted from the XP home install disk and then tried to install it got so far and then came up with the following error "Could not find EULA" and then errored the install and stopped how do I fix this problem. I have never seen this before but this is my first time with XP HOME.

Thanks

If you want to reinstall windows from Dos, then I would suggest that you use the following link:

This will give you the ability to create 6 floppy disks that you can use in your system to reinstall windows if you find that your CD isn't working right.

The computer has a bootable CD drive and I can read the CD. When I try and run setup.exe from the CD it tells me cannot run in DOS mode?? Why is XP Home so much different to install then XP Pro?

Thanks

You need to boot from the CD. Go into BIOS and make the CD the first boot device.

It is currently booting from the CD. When it tries to install it tells me "CANNOT FIND EULA" and then reboots???

Thanks that was the problem someone else formated it with Win98 and Fat32. Fdisk the old partition and away we go.

Thanks I should have know better.

But today is Friday and it is about time to go home.
