Hi all,
We are using MS Exchange 5.5 service pack 3 and it appears that somebody is using our server as a relay server. We receive about 200 spam messages every 5 hours or so. I have checked out several sites and have several articles but I wanted some more advice on how to stop the relaying. Our server's ip address is now listed on MAPS RSS and on the ORDB site and we want to have it removed, but we need to stop the relaying first.
Please advise

Thanks in advance
Lee

Thanks for the reply
I have checked out that article.
Any other suggestions?

Any reason why I should install service pack 4? When you install a new service pack, you are possibly opening up other problems.

SP4 is the most stable SP for Exchange and fixes more 'Undocumented Features' than it creates.
