Reinstalling Arcserve

I am planning a rebuild of the NT4 server that runs Arcserve
this will also involve re-installing Arcserve Advanced edition,
How can backup the Arcserve Configuration so that I dont have to go through the pain of re-licencing again

Take a backup of the folder c:\ca_lic from all machine having Arcserve component then reinstall and overwrite the
current c:\ca_lic with the backed up ones.

Alternative is to just make a copy of CA.olf file.

When I start to install ARCserve v9.0 on WinNT server, I failed to install with this error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program:C:\ASOPTEMP\Sources\Install\MasterSetup.exe
adnormal program termination


Need help.
