Has anyone ever attempted to reinstall JUST the webmail portion of Exchange 2003? Can this be done (if so how)? Everything is working OK for me except for the web access (which used to work but got hosed somehow). I don't want to risk going through an entire installation again if I can help it.... Thanks.

Paul.

Just a quick followup for everyone. The solution was the default domain address for everyone. When you create a new user with an email account (someone@theirdomain.com) Exchange automatically creates a default account for them at the boxes default domain (someone@mydomain.com). I was deleting these since they would never be used, however, OWA appears to need these for whatever reason. Grr....

Just a quick note for anyone else that reads this. Here are some more possibilities to try before doing a reinstall.

How to reset the default virtual directories for Outlook Web Access in Exchange Server 2003

alternative:

This won't help if you were a plonker like me and deleted the entire website and files. [neutral]

Also thanks for the information guys.
