I have seen a bunch about backing up the registry during the backup process with the Nt backup Gui, but cant find anything about the command line switch. Any suggestions?

Try regedit /e <filename.reg>
This will export up your registry to a file anywhere you like. i.e. tape, cd, zip etc.

Hi

Another way of doing it is making a Rescue disk.

Hope this Helps

Run rdisk /s and backup the repair directory it creates--update your rescue disks at the same time.
