Registry & Shortcut Errors

I am running a PIII 1.8gHz computer with WindowsXP Home. I close all programs properly, I shutdown Windows properly, yet everytime I run Norton SystemWorks, I get Registry & Shortcut Errors. Tonight, I had 1 Registry Error and 8 Shortcut Errors. They don't seem to be affecting the operation of the computer, but I don't understand what is causing these errors. Any ideas??? Thanx!
