Hi,

I have one eventserver system which has 5 msl in it. All the maps for those msl are using a common resource variables (.mrn file and .mrc file).

When I create a new msl within the same system which uses same set of resource variables,

do I need to register new msl in .mrc file???

Do we any automated way of registering new .msl to .mrc file so that resourcevariable can work for new msl when we restart the eventserver??

Where did you "register" the previous .msls? AFAIK, you just need to assign a launcher.

Register means those were mentioned in the .mrc file. I appended mine one in the .mrc file as mentioned below and things worked fine.

<System Name="/uat_merc1/6.5/wy4/systems/837x12_to_irl_wy_Vibh_Test.msl">
<ResourceFile ActiveVirtualServer="UAT Server">/uat_merc1/6.5/wy4/config/edihipaa.mrn</ResourceFile>
</System>

But my question is do we need to modify the .mrc file when we create new msl???

Do we have automated settings where .mrc file gets updated automatically when new msl is created and eventserver is restarted??

You have to add the system to the Event Server in the mrc file, manually.
