Registering KX-TGA401 to KX-TG6541 Base

Hey,

Hoping for any tips on getting my new handset registered
to my existing Panasonic KX-TG6541 system. I have 5
handsets registered, the system should be able to register 6. I don't get any errors from the base when
I try to register it, but the handset shows, "base has no power". I've followed the instructions exactly but still
no joy. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

You should be able to press and hold call button an base and go to settings on handset and scroll to register handset, it will ask for pin. Normaly 0000

Thanks. I finally did get it registered. Turned out
there was a 6th handset that had been registered at one time and lost.
I didn't know about it and apparently neither did the
phone as I didn't get an error that the handset limit
had been reached.
