The regional settings of a user are not saved when changed. It remains USA. The local administrator's regional settings have been set to UK during the instal of WinXP

When logged on the PC as the "pcadmin" user of the domain the regional settings can be changed and are saved.

This is a new SBS2003 server installation and a fresh windows XP SP2 PC.

Thanks in advance

I have discovered (with the excellent help of the Sage help desk as the symptom was appearing in the Sage Line 50 application) the reason for this problem but have not been able to identify, with any certainty, the cause.

There was no "International" registry entry for the particular user which had previously been logged on to a PC that had been badly infected with malware (although it was scanned and cleaned of bad stuff and was presumable clear). The incomplete profile had been transferred to the fresh windows PC as one would expect.

After making a new user on the domain and logging as the new user the problem did not re-occur.
