Reg Off hook emergency redirect extension.

HI Everyone,

I am trying to add a feature for emergency dialing after off hook timeout.

The config is as below.

Reserved Slots for Attendant Priority Queue: 5
Time before Off-hook Alert: 20
Emergency Access Redirection Extension: 201
Number of Emergency Calls Allowed in Attendant Queue: 5
Drop Parking User From the Call After Timeout? n
Deluxe Paging and Call Park Timeout to Originator? n
Controlled Outward Restriction Intercept Treatment: tone
Controlled Termination Restriction (Do Not Disturb): tone
Controlled Station to Station Restriction: tone

The Denial event is as below:

The same configuration is working fine for Analog phones but i am facing issue with IP phones. Have raised a case with Avaya Backbone too but was searching independently for any solution.

Any ideas?




 
We have made a COS with the normal station options but with option Off-hook Alert enabled.
Assign the COS to a station and go.

I'm not sure where to set the actual timeout but there's more on this subject on this forum....

We're on CM6.2, might not work for you ?

Thanks for the response.

We are on 6.3 and the Off-hook alert is enabled on COS.

Is the setting functional for your IP phones too?

yes - we're using 4610's on this particular location.

Alarm is sent to the attendant console for that tenant.
The config for the attendant console (p.2) specifies the nuimber to call when alarm is received.

Also, is there any way we can work out on this without the console i.e normal attendant VDN.

1 second timeout might look short, but apparently there's a 30 second base-timeout before this triggers....
We didn't modify field 3, but this might be one for you so as not to get the call to go to the attendant.
