Refreshing Collection seems not to work right

Hi,

since some days I have a problem with refreshing collections in SMS. Normally I use "update collection membership" and after about 30 seconds I refresh the collection (the red hourglass disappears). But nowadays the refreshing doesn't work - the red hourglass don't disappear and the collection membership therefore doesn't update.
Has anyone an idea why that can be? SMS reports no errors and nothing special else. We use SMS 2003 SP2.

I would guess there is some connectivity issues with the SQL DB,, I would take a look at the colleval.log SMSProv.log then SQL logs and and see if something is unusual.

Keep in mind a child site will not show a parents sites clients.

Make sure the SQL db is set to autogrow
Take a look at how big your Transaction logs are, (are you out of room)
