Refreshing a form while returning to the next record

I've created an update query that will update all records for a time period when the employee's name is selected from a list in a combo box and a command button on the form is pushed. I also added a "Refresh" macro to requery the form after update of a record. However, this is not ideal for the user as the requery always takes them back to the first record in the form.

Is there a way to run the update query and refresh the form while still going to the next record rather than going back to the first?

The form that I'm using is a job entry form that shows all work that was done last week (each week the records are processed and only new records appear in the form). But there are still over 100 records in any given week.

I forgot to mention... this is in MS Access 2007.

Thank you,

I'm sorry... I don't understand. If you're trying to tell me there is already a thread that will answer my question, could you please point me to the particular thread/response?
