refresh main from subform

I would like to perform two tasks with one action button within a subform. First I would like the button to display new record within the subform itself and then refresh all subforms and the main form data. The problem I have been having is the refresh issue.

Try DoCmd.Requery

I think this will refresh the data as required, and then you need to redisplay.

that does not do the trick, it requerys the subform, but not the other subforms and main form
