BillPower,
I'm using an example you posted on your website for relinking databases. i'm curious as to what your relinking. just the pre-created links or are you supposed to relink from scratch.
the problem is i can get the database to relink correctly but when i restart the program or reload the form i get the same error (unable to find data) message again.
like i said i don't know what i'm doing wrong, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
I will send any more info you would like to see.
normally i wouldn't single a person out for help but this is something you created and i hope you have a little more insight that i do.
Thanx in advance.

Are you refering to Linked Tables? If yes, then I have an excellent routine which will check whether your tables are linked. If not found because you have moved the backend to elsewhere, the routine will allow you to navigate to its location and automatically relink the tables. The next time the db is started it will re-check and will load normally without intervention if the tables (backend) are still in the same place. The routine includes other bits and pieces which may be useful.

that would be exactly like what i'm doing.
if you would post your example that would be great.
