I am trying to find a way to refresh the data in a Crystal 8.5 report. At the moment the only way to do this is to restart the program which is not what I want.

In Crystal 4.6 there was an option on the File Menu to Save Data With Report. However I cannot find an equivalent in 8.5.

I have tried the two obvious things I can find - In Designer, Default Settings, Reporting tab I checked the box to discard saved data. However this option does not seem to be being saved. I also entered in my code CrystalReport1.DiscardSavedData but this has not had an effect either.

Would be grateful for some advice.

Thanks,

Stuart

Where is the lightening bolt icon I can't find it on my screen?

I don't have report options in a file menu. Like I said I used to have in 4.6 but not in 8.5.

Would appreciate more ideas.

Thanks

Stuart

Under the report menu there is a refresh option (or F5 for a shortcut). If you don't have the lightening Bolt icon then perhaps you don't have the standard set of toolbars on view. Change the toolbars on show under the View -> Toolbars menu. Steve Phillips, Crystal Consultant
