What is the syntax for this. I need to pull a total from one subreport to another. They are both on the same main report. Thanks, Ken

Ken, I think I'm trying to do something similar to this. I need to pull a subreport total onto the main report. Would you mind posting the solution to your problem.

Thanks,
Jay

If you go into design view of your report with the sub report there, Right click on the control where you need to pull the total. On the data tab, click on the elipses(...)to the right of the control source and you should get the expression builder. In the lower left box you should see your report with a + on the left. If you double click on the + you will see your sub report(s). Click on the one you need and the center box will populate with the fields from the sub report. Just click on the one for your total and hit paste and OK. All set.
Hope this helps, Ken.

You're welcome. I'm always glad to see that I have been paying enough attention to help someone else, because I have been helped so much here.
