Reduce the microphone level on 9608

Callers are complaining they can hear other conversations in the office. Is there any way to reduce the microphone level on the handset?

How big is the office? I ask as we were asked to change a customers system as they claimed they couldn't hear the caller and the caller could hear background noise, we took a Mitel along to humour them and the same thing happened, we ponited out the office was so small and they had 5 people squeezed in they just all elevated their voices over each other until all were nearly shouting.

I agree and hooked up their headsets to see if it helps but am getting we didn't have this with our old system BS. I am not aware of a way to reduce the pick up but thought I would look into it.

Did you try the AGC settings?
