So I got two router connected and all communication is working and I'm using RIP. Now I have router A and B and I want router B to propagate a static route so I issue this in router B

ip route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 loop3
router rip
redistribute static

When I check router A routing table I don't see any static route through RIP. Would someone explain what I did wrong?

assuming RIP communication is working then the static route should be redistributed into the RIP process

Does router B have a existing static for that same subnet already?

@unclerico So I use live router and it doesn't work but it work in my packet tracer
@brianinms no

Might sound like a silly question, but is loopback3 up on Router B?

Can you give the config of these two routers? There are a couple things I can think of that might stop this from working.
