Redirect URL

Hi,

I am trying to redirect the first page that is loaded when going to a URL.

For example:

If the URL is

http://www.mysite.com

I want it to automatically go to

http://www.mysite.com/home/default.htm.

This needs to be a permanent change.

I have RedHat Linux and Apache 2.0.40.

So why do you need to re-direct, why not just change the DocumentRoot in httpd.conf to be that?

Or if your using virtual hosting then again add the DocumentRoot for that virtual host in its container?

You realy should check the FAQ's first
