HI,

When you type in our domain ( it goes to the apache welcome page. Could somebody tell me how to automatically redirect this to our site. ( I intend to create an HTML file that says redirecting you or something to that effect.

Cheers,

Dzon

Hi

Use the Redirect directive. But note that you are in a confusion. The browsers follow the redirection without user notification. What you are thinking to, is an aberrant use of the Refresh HTTP header, which is not intended to be used for redirecting.

By the way, why not simply put your site content in place of that default welcome page ?

Feherke.

Hi,

I did initially put my site in the root but was told not to do this. Rather create a folder called moodle and store everything in there. I was then told to create a new index.htm file with a pointer to my moodle folder. This file should then go in the root.

Thanks for your advice.
