I use an old Dos software that I can't set output in a config file or anything else. I have been able to print on a network printer using the command "net use lpt1 \\computer\printername" before printing but now I would like to send the output to a file.
Does somebody know how to do that in Windows 2000.

You should be able to use the old dos redirect command to send the output to a file. Simply add the following to the end of your command (without the quotes) "> c:\filename.txt". Adjust it to fit your path and filename needs. The ">" redirects the output to the file rather than to the screen.
