Hi, customer makes an international call to 00121297xxxxx
but on the display we only see REDIAL No: 00121297
Is there a solution for this to see the entire number?
Thanks, J
That depends somewhat upon the instrument you are using.
Most are going to be limited by the size of the available display window.
With the 5330/5340 phones when you press the "REDIAL" button you may see the complete number (up to 18 digits I think) but of course at that point the call is being redialled. The CALL HISTORY feature will give you a little more data, but likely still not the entire number in the case of an international call.
The only phone (in recent memory) that I recall as being able to display the entire redial number is the old TDM Superset 4150. I don't immediately recall the 'redial' display field size on the IP Appliance 5140/5240. Perhaps someone else knows.
However, I agree though that it is a problem or shortcoming of the instruments. We could sure use a feature button (ie like Superkey) to display the entire redial number without actually dialing it.
