Hi all,

I've just completely redesigned my site for the purpose of increasing visibility in search engines. I like the look of my old site better... but my old site is absoltuely not search engine friendly... so here I am with the new site! Please give me some comments/thoughts on my

1) Site overall design
2) User Friendly-ness
3) Speed
4) Improvements I could make for
increasing rankings in search
engine visibility.
5) Any other things you could think of! [smile]

Your comments are highly valued! Tell me the truth! [smile]

Thanks in advance!

I joined in November of 2001 when I was 14. I first started learning web design in Feb of 2001, and didn't really get anywhere with it...then I found this site. Now look where I am!....(unemployed :-D j/k). I don't know Wullie personally, but he taught me a good deal of what I know through these forums. SPYDERIX (Nate) is even younger than Wullie....talk about a good imagine expert, though!

I know what you mean--being older gives you more credibility and power, but being younger makes people more impressed with you. I remember my first BIG prospective client (I didn't win him over :p). I had talked with him on the phone a few times and arranged an interview. I showed up at his office (late :-/) and the secretaries just stared at me. Being American, I stand out over here, so they knew that I have been the foreigner they were expecting, but still they were shocked (and I even look older than I am! I drove at the airport in front of about 8 policemen right after 9-11 when I was barely 14, and they thought I had a license...;-) (hopefully there are no policemen on these forums to read this! ;-))). Anyway, their surprise really helped me out because I had no idea that this was a multi-million $$$ company. What I'd heard of them made me expect that they were really small. Their first thought was that I must not know what I'm doing sence I was so young, so they were very impressed when they saw my work--a lot more than they would have been if I'd been 27. (and this was when I'd only done one REAL site...no wonder they didn't accept me! I didn't even have RISTMO Designs built by then!)

Anyway, good luck to you in your work and studies...Hopefully the other programmers don't mind too much that my last couple of posts here were more of a friendly type than a helpful.

Rick
