Red light wont light up

I cant get the red light to light up on one of our 6408 D+ sets you leave an audix voicemail and no light, this is a Definity system I've done everything from removing the station and recreating it to removing the voicemail box and recreating it, I even went as far as moving the phone to a different port still no light. I then used a brand new phone out of the box no light. Anyone have any ideas im really stumped on this one.
 
Make sure page 2 of the station screen says audix in the AUDIX Name:

Also, if you're sharing 1 voicemail server for multiple sites, you may have to define a switch in the INtuity for that subscriber.

Well everything is correct as you suggested still no light, this is a real stumper.
 
On page 1 of the station form does 'Message Lamp Ext' have your extension in it?
 
Also, hold the transfer button down to test the lights to make sure it actually does work.
 
I had a similar problem with an Octel this morning. I had to busy the station, test station xxxx long, then release the station. When I went up to check, the light was on.

This may be way out in left field but is this a new set-up? We had some remodeling done last year and I went thru a similar problem, no light, swapped phones etc. etc. this person also had issues in audix like if they pressed a zero which was part of their password they would be transfered to the operator! Anyway when they wired the jack their was a pair wired wrong and that caused the whole problem.. Also had another phone do this and the cross connect wire had a small slit in it. The cable guy told me that just a small flaw like that can cause the phone to act strangly.

Make sure they remove all messages in their mailbox. Then leave a message and see if it lights the light. FIFO rule will not light the light, if there is a new message in there.

When you leave the message, status stat xxxx and make sure it says Message Waiting AUDIX.

Also try leaving LWC message to see if it lights the light.
