I'm getting this message at least 100 times aday and I'm not sure what to do to remedy it? I've looked it up in the book and I still don't really know how to diagnose it or fix it. 7111 is our Voicemail DN. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure, that message just rolls over the screen occasionally throughout the day. My rep at the phone company suggested a soft start, he said that something is out of sync.

How did you get the 4 0 10 9 tn out of the message? What can I check to see if its really a problem or not?

okay don't laugh to hard, how do you use the CONV command?

This is what I get, what else should I troubleshoot?

I'm sure John P has a better answer but I would out that set and rebuild it and see if it continues to be a problem.

I disable the phone and re-enable it and then I stat it and it says busy but noone is on the phone, I think I have a bad phone or a TN going out on me

Is there more than 1 phone with this ext on it?

Do a
LD 20
REQ PRT
TYPE DNB
DN 7901, 5191, 5190, 7900

As these ext appear on this phone, it may be these ext on another phone that is BUSY and now this one.

Or do a TRAC in LD 80 on that TN and see where it is busy.

If you stat the TN shouldn't it say idle(if no one using it) regardless of what a different phone is doing even with the same DN?

If another phone's ext appears on this phone and that ext is being used on the other phone and you do a stat it will show all phones that ext apears on to be busy, that is why you need to do a trac on the TN to see if that TN is really busy or is it one of the other phones.

PS the STAT is on a TN so if any KEY is busy, even on another phone. is will show the set as busy.

Thanks for the help, I have cleared the AUD069 message and it hasn't been back for at least 20 mins so I will check it again after lunch. Rebuilding the phone on a different TN worked, sounds like my TN was about to go out or has issues.
