Recovery Software loaded on my XP machine. A friend of mine has a MAC computer and needs data recovery from his external Hard drive (mac files). Can I use my machine to recover his Mac files? I planned on taking his external drive and hooking it up via firewire to my xp computer. Then, with in my xp computer, I planned on burning a cd with his recovered files on it and transfering it back to his computer. What do you think, can it be done?

yes you can, but you will need a special piece of software. Nativly Windows does not support MacOS HFS file system(yes i know i'm being redundant). I reccommend using a program called Macdrive. There is a 5 day demo avaliable.

I hope this helps
