Hi there!, well as you should know, you can install the Recovery Console for Windows2000/XP/2003 that comes in the CD, and can be accessed throught the CD while booting from it.
Well, i have installed it in every Windows XP i've installed before, after installing it, and applying patches, service packs and stuff, ok.
In Windows XP with or without Service Pack 1, when you try to run this command:
E:/I386/winnt32.exe \cmdcons (where "E" means the CD-Driver, and the rest is in the Windows XP CD-ROM),
a windows dialog appear asking you if you wanna install the Recovery Console as a boot option (in the default boot.ini file) and then you can istall it with no problems.
Well my problem is that i have SP2 instead of SP1, and when i try to run the command it says "installation stoped" you know, like if you were trying to install an older version of windows over Windows XP...
So i wanna know if there's any way to avoid that dialog, and install Recovery Console as a boot option in Windows XP with SP2. Thanks,
a lot.
