I recently removed my master hdd, and put in 2 new ones with a raid 0 set up. I hooked the old drive up to another computer, where it will be from now on, and tried transferring over the files I had there that I wanted to keep to the new drive (via home network), however I realized that one of my folders was encrypted, which I don't have access to anymore. I was wondering if there is anyway to recover this, or crack it. I could hook it back up to my other computer and possibly recover (as I haven't deleted the os on it yet) but the problem is that I would have to disconnect the raid 0 config, and I have heard that even small bios changes can effect the array, and I have just spent days reconfiguring windows to what I want again on it, and backing up other files, and I don't want to transfer it all off again to back it up again just in case it fails.
Is there anyway I can somehow get permission to use these files again? Or is the xp encryption app too soild to recover from without a key or whatever?
