HI,

I did something really stupid and it's about to cost me a few days of programming. I compiled, linked, and ran my program and it hung my system causing me to have to reboot my system. Therefore, I lost all the programming I had done since my last save(a day and a half). Is there some way to recover it by using the *.obj file or am I completely screwed?

I would appreciate any tips!!

Thanks,
Elena

This reminds me of the old saying: "When rape is unavoidable, lay back and enjoy it." Ya, I believe that you are "screwed", assuming that you were using Borland IDE and not some nice friendly editor like MS WORD to develope code ( a dumb choice), in which cae it writes out version on a timed basis.

How could you even possibly trust the electrical power for a day and a half?

I now always SAVE ALL before any execution (after changing code). That takes seconds. I too have been stung, but not so badly.
