Recovering a "archived" voicemail?

My HR director believes that after a certain amount of time (she said 30 days), her saved voicemails get archived somewhere

1) is this true?
2) if so, how do I access them for her!?!

Can you confirm for me that messages older than x days (30?) would go away on their own, without the user making some choice?

Yes they can delete on their own (once they've been listen to), depending on class of service settings.

COS's are editable as well, value of 0 = never delete.
