Ok.. Here is the situation. Sever died a horrible death. OS Crapped out big time. Even after wiping the OS partition and trying to reinstall, no go. The databases are on a seperate partition of the raid array. I can boot with my ERD Commander Software and get dos type access to the drives and can see the mdf and ldf for the database. Can I copy these out somehow and use them to recover the DB after I rebuild the server. I am somewhat of an SQL Newbie...

If this won't work.. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Forgot to mention this is on Sql 7.0, does that make any difference?
