Recover problem in Solstice 7.0.1

When I try to do a recover of some files, this messages appeared in daemon.log

03/18/05 13:09:55 nsrd: write completion notice: Writing to volume IM0016 complete
03/18/05 13:15:53 nsrd: media warning: /dev/rmt/1cbn moving: fsf 101: drive status is Media Error, Recorded Entity Not Found

Anybody know what is it about ?

The first message tells you that a write process has finished.

The second message is related to a positioning problem: File Space Forward to filemark 101 which could not be found.
Usually the media will be repositioned to the beginning first, what you also should see.

Did you change the volume manually in the interim which NW did not become aware our did you have a reset/power fail on the bus?

Unmount/eject the media and retry.

I unmounted the media and retried again, and the same error appeared.
I tried to recover with the same media another day and everything was ok but when I try to recover this day this error appear.
