Recover local Administrator password

Guys

Do you know whether some of the Linux-based tools to recover Windows XP Administrator passwords will work on servers running Windows 2000/2003? I was looking at something like the Trinity Rescue Kit but I cannot find anywhere that says it will work with Server operating systems.

Please can anyone advise?

Lad, you can try Knoppix for this. Otherwise Petri's site has excellent methods for password recovery

Search for hirens boot cd or Winternals Administrator's Pak. and theres also SpotMau .
