I have a Backup Server, client A & Client B. Backup is automated. I need a command for client A backup has to be restored on Client B from Backup Server everyday.

Thanks in Advance.

Check the Command reference guide to the "recover" command :

recover [-f] [-n] [-q] [-i {NYR}] -R recover-target -c \ client [-d destination] [-t date][-sserver][dir ]

Maybe you won't be able to do everything you want.

There is one more condition. You can only restore to
system platform from witch you created backup.
In your case client A and B must have the same operating
system.

... and on Windows, both source and destination must have
the same format, FAT or NTFS.

In fact, you may even succeed in doing a "cross-platform
recovery". However, NW cannot do it by itself - i succeeded
when i was testing the receovery between a UNIX and a
Windows partition on a NetApp filer. This is due to the
fact that the underlying file system is the same.

My primary & secondary server config are same. But still i am not able to automate. Mannualy it's going through. Pl. help me. Using the recover command option, i am not able to succeed.

Please send us the recover command you try to use, and the error(s) message(s)

I am using the following command :
recover -s bdc2bakup1w -c bngps2001 -d e:\ -R bngdc2001 -I c:\legato\recover_file.txt -iY -a
You have to make a file text named "recover_file.txt" and enter only one line in that file i.e
e:\udrives
Pl. help me

You must specify the save set id with the command:

recover -s bdc2bakup1w -S ssid -c bngps2001 -d e:\ -R bngdc2001 -iY -a c:\legato\recover_file.txt

to recover this file.

To recover the files from a list file, use

recover -s bdc2bakup1w -S ssid -c bngps2001 -d e:\ -R bngdc2001 -iY -I c:\legato\recover_file.txt

Using -a and -I in one command does not make sense but you
can obviously do it.
