Recordset not updateable

I have a main form with a subform which contains another subform. I can update the info in the main form and 1st subform, but not the 2nd subform - get the error: recorset not updateable. The 2 subforms are based on queries from multiple tables which contain many to many relationships.

Try changing your subforms' "Recordset Type" to "Dynaset (Inconsistent Updates)".

thanks for that, but I have tried it already and it did not help. Could it be a problem as I have 2 many to many relationships?
