Can I clone a Recordset clone? I clone "rstOrig" in the AfterUpdate property of a combobox. Then I want to take the cloned recordset and further filter it by selecting a date from a second combo box and create a clone of the original clone and have the resulting record be the current record.

Is it possible? Thanks.

The clone of recordset is also a recordset, so you can clone it. Did you encounter problems in doing what you want to do? If so tell me what problems...

Thanks for the response. I have a list of ID Nos. in a combo box on my main form. In the AfterUpdate property of the combo box, I create the rstOrig recordset clone and display the results in a subform. It works great.

What I would like to do now is to have two more combo boxes on the main form which will allow the user to select a StartDate and an EndDate. Then I thought I might clone the rstOrig clone and display the new results in the same subform or another subform if needed by clicking a command button.
