Recording TW users 1

Hi guys,

One of our clients, whose main activity is the financial trading, has got an MXe and an MBG. Mcd is 5 and the MBG is fairly new, not sure version but no older that 2 years.

They are petty small, about 8 users in the office and anothet 8 users who work from home.

They are happy with their system and the fact that they can work from home. They have recently ask us for a recording system to record extensions, even teleworkers.

In the past we have deployed Redbox for other clients whose users are all in the office, however we register users through the MBG so SRC can tab the call and record to redbox.

The question is, can we record teleworker users using SRC licences and redbox?

Since all the teleworker traffic comes through the MBG and you could install the SRC blade in an MBG. I thing you should be able to record both internal and external users. Not familiar with Redbox so can't comment.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Anyone else and you need to throw it harder.

You need tap licences on the MBG/SRC for each simultaneous recording session.
Redbox supports indirect recording where the phone sends a secondary voice stream direct to the Redbox.
All this is possible with teleworker users as well as internal users.
So in essence the answer is yes.
