Hello All:
We currently have Cisco IPCC ver 3.5(4). We were wondering if there was a way to set up like a "info line recording" to update employees on weather emergencies, disaster info etc...and have the ability to change without having to upload scripts. ie someone in HR dials a number, enters a password and re-records message. Dont need the ability to take msg, just listen and hang up.

Thanks Gang!!

Do you have Unity?? Have HR record the message and send it to a Distribution List that includes everyone that you want to send the message.

Pndscm,
We were thinking more like an 800 number pointed to a dnis number here. This line would be used mainly for service/maintenance employees who dont have voicemail. If it snows and they need to know if the company is closed, dial this number...no prompt options, no ability to leave a message, just a recorded msg.

Thanks

Although I 'm still learning CCM there "should" be a way to just build a v-mail box on a DID or pointed to a 800 number that will play the greeting and hang up.

OldTimePhoneGuy,
Our voicemail server sits in NYC, the IPCC server sits upstate NY. We wanted to see what our options were if the building were voicemail resides disappears...
Thanks for the input!!!
