I have a question about this issue. Imagine I have 2 extensions in IP OFFICE (700 and 701) and all the records in incoming and outgoing calls are enabled in extension 700 (nothing enabled in 701). It seems all run ok and I call see the records. Now I enable the forward unconditional in the extension 700 to 701. Now is impossible record the call. I tested to enable the records in 701 then all is OK.
I need to record all the calls from/to extension 700 when the forward unconditional is enabled to 701 but I need don't enable the records in the extension 701. ¿Is it possible?. (My scenario is more difficult but the essential question is this).

Very thanks!.

From the docs.....

User | Voice Recording

This tab is used to activate the automatic recording of user's external calls.

Call recording requires Voicemail Pro to be installed and running. Call recording also requires available conference resources similar to a 3-way conference.

· IP Office 4.0+ introduces the following changes to recording:

· Calls to and from IP devices, including those using Direct media, can be recorded.

· Calls parked or held pause recording until the unparked or taken off hold.

· Recording is stopped if:

· User recording stops if the call is transferred to another user.

· User account code recording stops if the call is transferred to another user.

· Hunt group recording stops if the call is transferred to another user who is not a member of the hunt group.

· Incoming call route recording continues for the duration of the call on the system.

First all, thanks for your help.

I know this docs but...you know if is totally impossible using VMPRO record calls record the "forwarded" calls?.

I know the doc says "User account code recording stops if the call is transferred to another user. ", but if I forward the call using VMPRO I think it is possible.....do you know if this is impossible?.

Very thanks.

do you use contact store? if not, you can enable recording of 701 but point it to 700's mailbox

You can do a couple of things.

Turn on recording on the incoming call route.
Give the use a record button.
Turn recording on for 701.
