We recently had our main greeting professionally made. In the past we recorded it ourselves using one of the phones. I can not get the new .wav file to play properly through the IP Office system (it is slowed down so much that it sounds like a demon speaking
We are using the latest release of v3.2 (think it's .55) Does anyone have a an idea how to make this work? I have tried rencoding the wave file about a dozen different ways. Most of the resulting files don't even play and force the caller into our default queue.
I noticed that the files recorded directly into the IP Office (we have a 406) are 128Kbps, 16 bit, mono, 8kHz, PCM files. That can't be reproduced using Sound recorder or another program I found. Everything but the 128Kbps can be done but that bit rate doesn't mesh.
Thanks for the help guys. And thanks for being here. I had no idea there was an IPOffice forum. Boy have I needed this.
