Am writing a macro with a relative reference...but when I go to Tools\Marco\Record new macro ... fill the requested info in and go to record

The dialog box doesn't appear so I can't use the relative reference selection. I am convinced it is lost.

I know how to stop recording the macro when I'm done.

None of the buttons on the Visual Basic toolbar have the relative reference button?

Many thanks again!!

Hi,

Do you have a SMALL FLOATING Stop Recording Toolbar?

If not, while RECORDING, right click the Toolbar and select the Stop Recording Toolbar.

:)

No I do not have a floating toolbar.

I understand that I can stop recording.

My problem is I need the Relative Reference button that is in the dialog box?

Any ideas?

right click the Toolbar and select the Stop Recording Toolbar

I am referring to the Excel Application Toolbar.

In the Stop Recording Toolbar is the Relative Reference Button.
