I am a novice user of Access 97. I have a database with 250,000 entries. I created a form to lookup records in the database. I used a combo box to lookup the records and several text boxes to display the separate pieces of information. However, the combo box only looks up the first 65,535 records in the database. How do I get the combo box to go beyond that limitation?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

I think I am working on this same problem in General Discussion Forum. Did you post there also, under SophTech? If not, you might want to check out my response there.

Yes, it's the same problem. I figured different forms might better my chances of getting responses. Thanks.

I hope you have figured out this problem, I myself am working with creating a lookup form. I have read that it may work best to filter the criteria so that there are less records to look through. This suggestion may have also come from the post Kathryn is talking about.
